Watermelon Colors Shawl

$360.00 USD

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Wrap yourself in warmth! This lightweight shawl folds up small for easy transport. When I saw this pink, green, and white yarn I immediately thought of a watermelon. I searched for a half circle pattern to mimic a watermelon slice and found one by Curious Handmade that spoke to me. Once I started, this project took me about 40-50 hours to complete.

This yarn is hand dyed by Unplanned Peacock Studio in Virginia. A 80% Merino wool, 20% Silk yarn, it is extremely soft and drapey while being ultra luxurious.

CARE: Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry. Although the yarn dyer says it is machine washable, I have found that the agitation of a washer can cause damage to knitting. Do not wring dry as this can cause stretching. After washing, roll it in a towel and squeeze the towel. Shake gently and lay down on a flat surface to dry. Store flat/folded as the fabric will stretch if hung.
